It’s been ages since my last little things post, but here’s a glimpse of life around here this past week.

1 very handy Frank, 1 assistant Jess (who also kept one eye on the oven), and several baked-goods-fueled hours

I’ve had sumac before, but I’ve never cooked with it. I was so excited to find some here, although I “found” it at Dean and Deluca, so it didn’t exactly take a lot of effort to search it out. I’m so excited to try it!

I love the outdoor Bangkok photos! We were only there for 36 hours so didn’t see much. Thailand has Ikea too?

Thanks, Ginger – it can be difficult to find nice green spaces in Bangkok, but some of them are just gorgeous. We JUST got Ikea in Bangkok, and I have taken full advantage of it. For the first few weeks it was so crowded that you couldn’t even walk through the store, but it’s become a bit less novel of late.
