Ooh….I dont get my magazines until like 4 months later…jealous! Anything good in that issue? :-) The shrimp look delicious…and ere those gin and tonics?

There’s good stuff in that issue, although it plays tricks on my brain to look at all those pictures of beautiful stews and soups – I’m not always in the mood after being out in the heat. But I know YOU can relate. ;) Frank is working on a recipe for a cocktail like a G & T but with rosemary-infused simple syrup and cucumber water! We had something like it in Singapore last year at Wolfgang Puck’s restaurant. I’m happy to be the test-taster.

Sometimes that’s the only answer, Claire! Crank up that AC and pretend that we actually get some variety in the temperature. They had a foot of snow in my hometown over the weekend, and I was missing the cold weather a bit.
